Istanbul is a beautiful city full of history and rich in culture.
The people in Istanbul are disciplined. At the tram/metro, people stay on the right of the escalator/stairs, so those who are in a hurry can use the left side to run or overtake. No women are working in a resto or shops, I believe they are all Turkish local men. People in Istanbul work and walk their asses off fast, literally fast. I think slacking is not their favorite word. I've seen groups of Japanese/Korean/Chinese and few Indian tourists but no Asian expats working there even in a hotel. They address the women as "lady" :-) The shops (branded clothes) in the shopping district are on 50% indirim.
Nevertheless, I heart Istanbul. I love its nice weather, savory food, fantastic desserts, everything and beyond. I could go on and on but I will stop before it gets rambly. LOL
So please take a moment and appreciate my back the photos I am posting here.
